MR BIG aka Tatay, A Transwoman and That Tiring Tune!

Premiering in Melbourne at fortyfivedownstairs
24 June to 5 July 2026

Diana has the perfect fiancé, the perfect dress, and the perfect lie.
But a ghost from 1991 just grabbed the mic.

Now, her dead father is crashing her engagement party with a rock ballad that never ends.

A hilarious, heart-shattering riff on family, identity, and the parents we try to leave behind.

MR BIG is a masterclass in culturally diverse storytelling: a deep dive into family duty, the immigrant experience, and the hilarious tragedy of trying to escape your past when it's literally singing in your ear.

MaaMaa & Nonna’s Kitchen
